Other comprehensive services offered to support our outplacement offerings:

The Innis Company provides on-site, post notification consulting with the affected employee. These events can and have included consultation to the notifying manager prior to delivering the termination message, as well as counsel on logistics, security and exit strategies.

The Innis Company consultant, on-site for notification day, will provide assistance to members of the Human Resource team and the notifying manager to help minimize anxiety and provide suggestions for delivering the message.

Each separated employee is provided with a “Handling the First 48 Hours” guide, which includes advice for communicating the news to family and friends, and on immediate concerns and emotional reactions.

Our consultants proactively reach out to each employee upon separation within 24 hours of separation. The consultant ensures that the employee is emotionally processing the news and is moving forward.

For those employees not seen on separation day, The Innis Company prepares and delivers a letter of outreach to communicate the outplacement benefit being provided by the client company and how to take advantage of the service.

On a routine basis, our project team reaches out to company management for feedback and review of any recent projects. The team also provides ideas for alternative programming based on employee response.
